My Process
Discovery Call
Everything starts with a no-obligation chat, usually over coffee or a video call. This is where I can answer any questions you may have, whether that’s about a celebrant led ceremony or how my process works. We’ll discuss your date, your location, and those “must-have” moments. If you decide I am the celebrant for you, a deposit secures your date in my diary.
Booking Form & Deposit
Following a discovery call, if you decide I am the celebrant for your special day, I will send you a booking form.
On completion of this and sending a deposit of 50% of your chosen package, your date will be secured.
Initial Meeting & Couples Questionnaire
Around 6 months before your ceremony date, we will arrange a meeting either face to face or virtually. This will be a meeting where I can get to know you both as a couple, understand a little more about who you are, what you enjoy doing and the story of your love from meeting to engagement.
We can also chat about any symbolic elements, rituals or anything else you would like included in your ceremony.
I will then send you a couples questionnaire and ask that you both complete one of these (within a month’s time frame).
Once I have these back I will start writing your script, as well as contacting your venue and other suppliers to ensure we are all coming together to create your perfect day.
The Script Writing Process
Once I have completed the first draft of your script, I will send this over for you to read and make any amendments that you wish.
We can also keep in touch via email or whatsapp, as well as follow up meetings to ensure you stay well informed of the process and that we can also revisit any elements you may wish to include such as readings or rituals.
I will amend the script as needed up until 1 month before your ceremony date, by which time, I aim to have this finalised for your peace of mind.
Vow Writing
As part of my packages, guidance and support with writing your wedding vows can be offered individually or as a couple.
Symbolic Rituals
In The South West Ceremony Package, up to 2 symbolic rituals can be explored and included in your ceremony. These are a fun, visual way to symbolise your love and commitment to each other, as well as including family, friends, children or even pets in your ceremony.
We can discuss rituals during our meetings and I can help you decide which may reflect you and compliment your ceremony.
Ceremony Rehearsal
I offer an optional but advised rehearsal with both of my ceremony packages.
This can be face to face or virtually.
A rehearsal ahead of the big day helps settle your nerves and gives you confidence on the day.
The Ceremony
On the day, I will deliver your ceremony with warmth and joy, creating a moment that your guests will remember and see you reflected in.
Every couple will receive a keepsake box within 2 weeks of the ceremony, including a presentation copy of the script, readings or poems included, personalised, handmade vow booklets and copies of your couple questionnaires.

The South West Ceremony
From £650
- No limit on ceremony length.
- A bespoke and personal ceremony script written from scratch.
- Your love story placed at the heart of your ceremony.
- Exploration and inclusion of up to 2 symbolic rituals.
- Bespoke and personal Vows and commitments.
- Ring exchange.
- In depth consultations face to face or virtually.
- Multiple script reviews up to 4 weeks prior to the ceremony date (reasonably defined at 10 reviews).
- Coordination with venue and suppliers prior to the ceremony.
- Guidance and support with vow writing.
- Ceremony rehearsal virtually or face to face (optional but advised).
- Keepsake box within 2 weeks of the ceremony including presentation script and vow booklets.
The South West Elopement
From £575
- Up to 16 guests.
- Ceremony length 15-25 minutes.
- A bespoke and personal ceremony script written from scratch.
- Aspects of your love story woven throughout the ceremony.
- Bespoke and personal Vows and commitments.
- Ring exchange.
- In depth consultations face to face or virtually.
- Multiple script reviews up to 4 weeks prior to the ceremony date (reasonably defined at 8 reviews).
- Coordination with venue and suppliers prior to the ceremony.
- Guidance and support with vow writing.
- Ceremony rehearsal virtually.
- Keepsake box within 2 weeks of the ceremony including presentation script and vow booklets.
Additional Costs
- Travel charged at £1/mile over 30 miles from my home address in Plymouth.
- Accommodation may be required the night before the ceremony for travel time over 2 hours, depending on the ceremony time.
- For Ceremonies abroad, expenses are required for flights/travel and accommodation for a minimum of 3 days/nights depending on destination.
